An important Grade II Listed building dating from the early 1700’s & set within the hills of Exmoor National Park. The house had been recently purchased by our clients and required substantial renovation, working within the strict guidelines established by the Local Authority Listed Buildings department.
The cob walls required specialist lime plaster finishes and lime wash paints. Replacing old fixtures and fittings in the bathroom and kitchen with traditional but newly built fittings has given a new lease of life to this 300 hundred year old property.
Local craftsmen were directly employed and all works were project planned and managed by Strongbuild.
